Web / Software Engineer
CompSci is currently seeking permanent hire Web / Software Engineers with two or more years experience. As a Web / Software engineer you will be working with a dynamic team of engineers on systems that are used to track, manage, and analyze stock market data, regulatory data, and correspondence information.
CompSci's team of engineers work in a structured environment using tools such as PVCS, CVS, and Ant. Additionally, we have a team of test engineers that are responsible for testing the web applications using the Mercury tool set (LoadRunner, TestDirector, and QuickTest Pro).
Positions require strong expertise in Web technologies, including Java, JSP, JDBC, Ant, Struts, Hibernate, XML, HTML, RDBMS, Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP, and Solaris/UNIX/Linux.
Other expertise desired, but not required, includes JavaScript, XBRL, Perl, Sybase ASE, Sybase IQ, and familiarity with search engine technologies. We are seeking highly qualified engineers at both mid and senior levels.
Additional requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship or Greencard required
- B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
- Results oriented
- Good leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
